Seasonal Fruits and Veggies

Spring has sprung and so have the fruits and vegetables! Of course, you can enjoy fruits and vegetables year-round with canned or frozen, but there is just something great about fresh! Research has shown eating enough fruits and vegetables is linked to a lower risk of many chronic diseases, and may help protect against certain types of cancer. Different categories of fruits and vegetables provide different sorts of vitamins and minerals.*

Fresh fruits in spring:

  • Apricots
  • Bitter Melon
  • Honeydew
  • Jackfruit
  • Limes
  • Mango
  • Oranges
  • Pineapple
  • Strawberries

Fresh vegetables in spring:

  • Artichoke
  • Asparagus (Green, Red and White)
  • Broccoli
  • Corn
  • Fennel
  • Green Beans
  • Lettuce (Butter, Red Leafy and Spring Baby)
  • Peas
  • Radicchio
  • Snow Peas
  • Spinach
  • Swiss Chard
  • Vidalia Onion
  • Watercress
